Halo follows the events of an inter-galactic war between the last surviving members of the human race and an advanced collection of alien races known as The Covenant. The first title in the series, Halo: Combat Evolved, was the flagship title for Microsoft's Xbox video game console when it was released in 2001. The game achieved both critical acclaim and financial success, selling more than 6 million copies worldwide. The Grunt is a menace to the human race, and represents the vast majority of the Covenant infantry. The Grunts are the lowest tier of the Covenant hierarchy, and move in packs. They are expected to unquestioningly obey the commands of their Brute commanders.

Grunty Thirst Quenched
This figure is nothing short of perfect.
Scale is true compared to Spartans and other Halo universe inhabitants.
The detail is insane and it's arguably the most pose-able in the series.
No problems with gun holding, and both the back "fin" and face mask rebreather elements are removable.
Like others in the series, though, it's a display type piece and probably wouldn't hold up too well to actual play.
Hopefully it will be reissued, as Grunts need representation in numbers to fulfill their true potential.

preorder wth???
i preordered in early 2008, surely i could get one when they first came out. after 2 date push backs, no halo 3 figures for me.
the price got driven way above what i preorded for, and amazon couln'dt
come through. I'm not out of anything but really disappointed.
