A fairly long single player campaign (LOTS of long cut scenes!) backed up with an interesting multiplayer component that's a hybrid of 3rd and first person shooting mechanics.

Buy new: $27.79 / Used from: $18.96 The makers of the excellent Battlefield PC games bring the series to consoles, with excellent results. The single player campaign is very worthwhile, but the multiplayer is this series bread and butter. The maps are enormous, the weapons are plentiful and the games destructible environments really ramp up the enjoyability. Also on the PS3.

Buy new: $19.99 / Used from: $16.88 Yes, this title is technically a last generation game, but that doesn't make it any less great. The newly added Wii control scheme works well, and it now included the PS2 extra Ada game "Seperate Ways". This game has aged well, and is just as enjoyable now was it was almost 4 years ago. If you don't have a Wii though, the Gamecube and Ps2 versions are just as great.
