Arduous Task Made Simple5
The ClickFree HD 701 Back-up drive does everything it advertises. There is no program to load. There is no key to click. You plug it into a USB slot and it sucks up all your data by itself. You can guide it if you wish, but usually I just let it do its own thing a couple of times a week. It even copies data from programs that are in use when you plug it in! When it's finished, it displays a file list of what it just copied.

Click it and Forget ItQ4
This was very easy to use and easy to set up. I should have gotten the one with more space. I just saw there is a 250GB ClickFree. I only wished I had read that it only works for Windows XP and higher. I had planned to put my old computer data on this device, but found out it doesn't work for Windows 98. It may have said that, but I didn't seem to read that info before buying. Also I wish you could upload videos directly to Youtube or wherever directly from the device. Maybe this is possible, but so far, I haven't been able to do this.
But it is great for the average person, they can just hook it up and you're done.

some current cons - but improvements likely on the way3
I was disappointed to realize that this thing was really only meant to work as a backup device, and not as a normal hard drive. I called tech support about 1) being able to delete files that I've backed up and 2) whether the device can be used as a normal hard drive (i.e. to store things on temporarily, etc, without going through the back up software). I was told that 1) within 3-4 weeks an update to the software will come out that will allow deleting of individual files and 2) I can drag or copy files onto it as a normal hard drive, but that if I do that then the files won't be counted or filed by the back up software. All in all it might make more sense to get one of the hard drives that come with back up software instead of this thing (they tend to come with a lot more GB for the price), though the back software on other devices don't often get good reviews... make what you will of it..
