Amazon.com Product Description
Perfect for every type of player who wants more distance, TaylorMade's Burner golf balls offer a fast, long and soft performance that's enhanced by a new proprietary aerodynamic technology called Low Drag Performance, which promotes improved distance on the most common types of off-center driver hits. Offering an integrated approach, LDP technology combines every element that makes up the ball's surface--the size and depth of the dimples, the angles of their edges and the symmetry in which they're laid out--to help you maintain lift on low-spin and off-center hits and minimize distance loss. It also features an energetic V-Core (Velocity Core) that boosts speed, an exceptionally pliable Iothane 61 cover, and a two-piece construction that delivers the soft feel of balata.

Not impressed2
I've only used these a couple of times, but I can say that the ball has a dead feeling to it on tee shots and I don't get the distance I get with other brands. To me it's not any better than some of the inexpensive balls I've used in the past.

Finally, a great golf ball with feel...5
I've tried dozens of different brand golf balls with a soft feel... the old Titleist red, Dunlop made a green lettered soft feeling ball that flew tru, however, this new Taylor Made Burner has them all beat with a better softer feel and much, much, more distance off the tee.

The advantage of the softer ball is staying on the club face longer which gives me a chance to work the ball, yet, not sacrificing distance.

This is the best golf ball I've used in twenty five years of golf
