Customer Reviews

Good layout and very durable4
The great layout for playing games (I use the up, down, right, left buttons to move along with the nine buttons above, the nine button keypad to the right and can also use the R Ctrl, Shift, Enter and windows menu key for a total of 23 different buttons within easy reach of my left hand to change weapons, etc) and the steel back makes a very durable keyboard as I tend to drop it, step on it, or spill stuff on it. It does not have the best key action in the world but for $15 its great. I'm ordering two more right now. That's why I came to this page to look at them at ended up writing this review.

Cheap and water proof so far.4
I just ran into a receipt showing I've owned one of these keyboards for two years.

This is close to a record for me - I buy my keyboards in 6-packs. I either destroy them in FPS gaming or coffee spills.

It's a very standard mushy keyboard feel - not fancy laptop keyboard action or old IBM metal springs.

Great keyboard--feels like original IBM PC5
I just got this keyboard, and I already love it. It has the same satisfying 'clickiness' of the original IBM PC keyboard. The only negative is the size of the backspace key--it's not oversize as it is on many newer keyboards. But that's not a problem for me, as I am used to a smaller backspace.

This keyboard has the 'Wake Up', 'Sleep', and 'Power' keys that most Vista-capable computers support. I particularly like being able to shut the system down with a keypress--I haven't been able to do that since my Mac days back in the late '80s!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this keyboard, particularly for someone who wants the essentials, without all the 'media keys' and other junk that seem to be found on most keyboards today.
