Finally a CFL that fits in a ceiling fan!
Indeed, I finally found a CFL bulb that fits in my ceiling fan. This little bulb is awesome. It lights instantly, though it does take about thirty seconds to get to full brightness. The color is perfect, like a halogen bulb. Doesn't make a noise when on or get too hot either. I hope it will last a while, though obviously I can't wait years to write that into my review. This two pack was a bit pricey, but seeing as it's actually a name brand and a micro-mini style that would explain the extra cost. Really, I'm just glad the thing fits into my ceiling fan. Six years it took to find one that would, and provide enough light!!
This is the best CFL I have purchased
The product turns instantly on and is bright from the beginning. It fits the same size as a traditional incandescent. I love it!
Best CFL's I have used
We have over a hundred CFL's in our house, but I had yet to replace the incandescent lights inside of the garage door opener that always seem to go out from the vibration. I also wanted these because they instantly reached full brightness so they were ready when you pulled your car into the garage. They are exactly what I wanted and perform great. Furthermore they are even smaller than regular light bulbs and generate a very white crisp light that I haven't got from my other CFL bulb brands. Like other reviewers I was kind of amazed mine weren't broken when I got them because there was so little packing material used, but they worked fine when I screwed them in.
