Standard base, not medium
The picture shows a standard bulb base. The description says medium base. The picture is correct. Bulb is ok, instant on. Color is similar to conventional incandescent bulb.
Good bulb
The bulb I ordered from Amazon arrived broken, I sent it back and Amazon promptly returned my money. Thank you Amazon. I bought another of the same brand at my local store and it's working out great, nice bright light and I like knowing I'm saving money on my energy bill as well as helping the environment by using these bulbs.
