Very pleased5
I love my Macbook except for the profoundly lousy internal speakers. Based on reading these reviews, I bought these and am very pleased. I use Soundsticks when I'm deskbound, and they provide superior audio quality but aren't portable. For traveling this will now make my music accessible, which it wasn't before without headphones. Excellent product (providing it holds up!)

brilliant compared to my laptop speakers....4
This speaker is great for those who, like me, have a laptop whose speakers put out less volume than headphones(Acer, incidentally.) Quite loud. Not the best speaker I've heard but quite impressive for a single small USB speaker. My one complaint is that it would be nice to have an adjustable bracket to clamp onto the side of the laptop right around the USB port, because I worry that the speaker is slowly weighing down and breaking the USB port.

I listen to a lot of teleseminars and trainings on my Lenovo laptop and the speaker just didn't cut it. Even when I was sitting right at the computer. I love the jLAB speaker. It's light, portable, needs no cords or wires and produces incredible sound, especially for such a small unit.
