Sandy in Texas on Seiko's ultra thin travel alarm
This is a very light weight dependable travel alarm. With the airline weight restrictions it has become so important to make every ounce count and this little alarm does.

I recently went on a spree and bought four travel alarm clocks... looking to find one that is compact and light weight but has an adequately loud alarm.

This is the one I'm now taking in my carry-on when I travel. It's slim and nice-looking, and fits my other criteria.

We returned it
We didn't even try to use this clock. The thin plastic put us off right away. The buttons on the back are difficult to see because everything is the same color--black. Seiko didn't want to spend an extra penny or two making them a different color. We finally bought a sturdy, easy-to-use alarm clock on Ebay--the old fashioned kind with gold knobs on the back for setting and a gold key for winding.
