Perfect for extended use
I have been using this peculiar design for over two years, for extended multi-hour dictations with Naturally Speaking and for Skype. I cannot say enough good about it. Strange as it seems when you first start with it, you soon forget that it is there...it is so lightweight, and nothing over your head. The MX500i has the extra cable provided to convert the 2.5 mm to USB. Perfect.

I'd call it OK
This seems to work better than most of the "under $100" headsets. People occasionally say they can't hear me. If I adjust the connection, then it sometimes gets better. Once you get used to the under-the-ear piece, it's comfortable. I haven't tried using it with the computer yet.

Great for computer, portable phone or cell phone
This is a great little product! Fits right or left ear and has great audio quality. I've ordered 3 of these as gifts. I often unplug it from the USB cable and use the 2.5mm jack to connect it to my cell phone or portable phones. It has in-line volume control and muting, so you don't have to fumble with the mute buttons on various applications.
