This is a 1 piece heavy action conventional boat rod that is great for all heavy saltwater applications. Snapper, Grouper, Bluefish, Cobia, Amberjack; all species of inshore gamefish should watch out when you are using this. Pulling big fish off a wreck no problem. Depp water diamond jigging is a snap! On this rod we made it look like a headboat classic. We used non-fouling snake guides to make this extra tough. We have incorporated a sensitive tip but a super strong butt to gain the most lifting power. Large grips allow for easy handling. We spent countless hours trying to make the best rod on the market.
