Total JUNK!1
Bought this item at Walmart. Installed it perfectly, it worked for only seconds inaccurately then stopped completely. Thought it might need to be closer to magnet. I got it so close it was less than one millimeter. No, its just a worthless piece of junk and I cant wait to return it, in fact I never leave reviews, but this one sucked so bad it deserved my time. Get a VDO or Cateye or Polar.

Better than expected4
Paid $20 for a similar Bell product at Target which I think is the one that most folks are reviewing here. For the price, you can't beat it. Bought two of them and they have worked flawlessly. If you want to spend more money on a top branded one go ahead. If instructions are followed, it will work as good as the ones priced $40 or above. They both had worked better than expected since I installed them and rode out of the garage to the local trails.

NOT RELIABLE1
I BOUGHT THIS UNIT AT A LOCAL WALMART AND IT DOESN'T SEEM TO BE ACURATE. THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY THAT THE SENSOR BATTERY MAY NEED TO BE REPLACED BUT WHY DID THEY INSTALL IT IN THE 1ST PLACE? THE UNIT IT-SELF CAME WITH THE BATTERY SEPARATELY PACKAGED AND SO SHOULD HAVE THE SENSOR TO AVOID ANY PROBLEMS THAT MAY OCCUR DUE TO THE THE BATTERY BEING PRE-INSTALLED IN THE SENSOR. WHO WANTS TO RUN OUT AND BUY A NEW BATTERY AFTER INSTALLING THIS UNIT ON THE BIKE JUST TO TAKE IT OFF AGAIN AND FIGURE OUT WHICH OF THE SEVERAL PROBLEMS YOUR HAVING. I JUST TOOK IT OFF COMPLETELY AND DECIDED TO GO WITH A BETTER BRAND THAT'S NOT WIRELESS. WIRELESS SYSTEMS SEEM TO GIVE FALSE READINGS AND YOU DON'T NOTICE WHEN IT'S NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY WHILE RIDING RIGHT AWAY, AND ONCE YOU DO, YOU GET PARRANOID AND KEEP LOOKING AT THE SCREEN TO SEE IF IT STOPPED AGAIN TAKING ENJOYMENT AWAY FROM THE RIDE EXPERIENCE. I BELIEVE THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH DISTANCE FROM THE SENSOR TO THE UNIT - THEY DON'T TELL YOU WHAT THE MAX DISTANCE IS BETWEEN THE 2 (UNIT & SENSOR) TO SEE IF THAT IS PART OF THE PROBLEM. I'LL STICK TO WIRED SYSTEMS FOR NOW UNTIL I DISCOVER A REPUTABLE WIRELESS SYSTEM WHICH I'M SURE WILL COST ALOT MORE.
