Buy new: $6.99 / Used from: $7.99 Inexpensive memory Card for the Kindle. Unless you plan to load up on music files, 1GB will be MORE than enough storage for most people. The "Complete Works of Shakespeare" take up 2.9MB, so you should be able to store 353 large tomes. Average ebook is about 500KB, so you can store up to 2000 files.

Buy new: $13.23 / Used from: $12.14 I resisted getting one of these, but they are really quite nice and allow you to read in a variety of places. This is the best reading lap I've seen and a good hobby light too.
