Very poor performance
Totally dissapointed with the GPS performance. Lacks power, very limited capacity to perform as a GPS and as a navigator. I wasted most of the battery capacity waiting to connect to a satellite signal. If you do not have the streets & Trips software it gets even worse. My opinion buy a GPS or a navigator from Magellan or Garmin there performance is outstanding.
Sony GPS
I bought this to replace the Garmin GPS 10 device that I had for a while and in the manual it disclosed that it' s mildly radioactive. I threw away that Garmin piece and I hope the Sony GPS isn' t.
Small, Easy to Use
This GPS receiver works great with my Sony UX-380N. Easy set up. Great combination (UX Series micro PC and GPS receiver) when used in my vehicle (or rental) or walking about while traveling.
