The image and information given are false. This model of the Samsung Q1 Ultra runs on Windows XP Tablet PC, AND has an entirely different case design then the one displayed (just google it before buying).

Nice5
I have 3 UMPC's including this one. 2 with linux and this with XP. This is a nice machine. Fast enough to do real work. Great display with vivid colors. It benefits from adding more RAM but everything benefits from adding more RAM.

I found a keyboard was essential. First I bought a foldable one. Very nice but had no F1 - F12 keys. I live or die with F4, F5, and F11 so I got a small USB one. It is no larger that the Q1 and therefore packs well. A small rf travel mouse completes the package.

Another USB port would be nice. The touch screen is great unless you wish to write upon it, then there are the dreaded 'palm artifacts'. What a PIA they are.

Is this , a Q1, worth more than twice the price of a Asus eee. To me the answer is yes but ..... only if you reallly like the better screen the sleek looks and really benefit from having a Hard Drive. Then again there is the Everex Cloudbook UMPC with its 30 Gb Hard Drive for less than 1/2 the price of the Q1 but to make it usable it needs to have XP installed or a Linux package other than the one it arrives with.

Yes this is indeed like beauty as it is in the eye of the beholder.
