This is not a necessity item, but we recieved it as a gift and it was fun to sit him up before he could sit on his own. I've also used it as a feeding chair now that he can sit on his own. (on the floor only. not to be used as a high chair or booster.)

We were loaned a version of this play mat and it was a big hit with my son. Before he was mobile he enjoyed looking and swatting at the hanging toys.

I LOVE this toy. It was a great first rattle toy and now at 10 months it's still a favorite. It's a great toy for the airplane b/c I can squish it into the diaper bag and it doesn't make obnoxious noises.

I love all of Eric Carle's books. The board books are great because my son can flip through them on his own without ripping the pages.

This stroller is PERFECT for our lifestyle here in Boston. It handles the streets well and it's a great jogging stroller. I am 5'8" and it's a good height for me.

I LOVE my hotsling. It's fabulous.

These are not necessary, but they look super cute and in the cool winter and spring months they helped keep his socks on.

This is a must-have. My husband didn't want to wear a sling, so this was his favorite baby carrier.

Not sure if this is the exact one we bought, but it's pretty basic and that's all we need.
