Equipped with a 9" wide paper entry, the SB-97Cs easily accepts standard letter or legal size documents. The SB-97Cs shreds CDs in a designated safety slot. Durable steel cutters also accept credit cards, staples and small paper clips. An auto start-stop feature ensures quick and easy automatic shredder operation. The shredder automatically shuts off and alerts the operator when a jam occurs, door is ajar or wastebasket is full. This model includes a fully enclosed 10-gallon pull-out wastebasket, and the cabinet stand has built-in casters for portable ease. Fellowes provides a seven-year warranty on the cutter.

Recieved in undamaged condition in a timely manner.
Somewhat larger than expected so check dimensions.

Good Choice for Office or Home
We recently bought this shredder for our office and it's shared between two people. I looked at lots of different styles and features and finally decided on this one. The day we got it, I tried to cause it to fail - to test it out. It took everything I gave it. It only jammed once because I tried to put way too much paper through at one time and when that happened, I hit the reverse button and it all came out with ease. It has a nice capacity and for those who are trying to make eco-friendly purchases, you don't need to put a bag in this bin. The casters also make it very easy to move between the two offices if needed.

The only negative I can say is that when you do empty it out, you will want to reach under and grab the paper pieces that are still "stuck" in the blades. It's easy to do and doesn't take long. I think with most shredders that cut the paper in to smaller pieces than just strips, it will have a tendency to have pieces left in the blades.

I like this so much, I'm thinking of buying one for my home.

LOVE IT
We have had this shredder for quite a few months now, and we absolutely love it. It is much quieter then our previous one, and is a little work horse. I would highly recommend this product to any small business or home office.
