Customer Reviews

Good pen for the price4
It is heavy and solid, but the barrel tends to unscrew itself open with use. Also the cap tends to fall when attached to barrel. Good looks, simulate an expensive pen, what I like most is the blue color.

Well Built Pen but Interesting...4
I am a big Parker Jotter fan who also owns a Parker Latitude fountain pen.

This pen tries to mimic the Parker Latitude by being quite a bit larger than the Parker Jotter (barrel width). The pen is made out of thick metal (feels like it anyway) and is very heavy. One thing that I don't like about this pen is that it was made in China - Not the UK or France like most of Parker's pens. However, the build quality of this pen is excellent and I see no design flaws whatsoever.

The color of this pen is wonderful. The royal blue is not some cheap bluish tint but rather a dark deep reflective blue. I really like it.

When I got this in the mail the ink cartridge had exploded during/before shipping and leaked all over my desk. I noticed the Parker Rollerball ink cartridge that came with the pen did not say Made in UK like they do at my local Staples. It took about 2 minutes of washing to get all the ink out of the pen and my desk.

I give this pen a 4 out of 5 because the weight of the pen is incredibly heavy and of the ink problems. I am used to the Parker Jotter (light) and prefer a lighter pen for daily use. The build quality is great as everything is *very* solid - A+ in my opinion.

Should you buy it? $15 is a little expensive but the cost is well spent because the pen is built very well - I could see this pen easily lasting a lifetime under normal use (unlike most Made in China stuff). I definitely recommend this pen to people who like rollerball ink versus ball point. The weight of the pen takes some getting used to but it isn't bad.
