Customer Reviews

Have only good things to say about Amazon5
Over the years I've been making a number of purchases from Amazon, and I've always been extremely satisfied with their prices, promptness in delivery, and quality of their products. The last item I bought was a Lite-On SATA DVD burner. The item was delivered ahead of the scheduled time, and it functions perfectly. What more can I ask?

Not recommended1
Installs quickly,
functions adequately,
then dies.

This drive functioned for one day and then promptly died.

The labels are adequate using the included software. However, in the highest quality mode; the labeling of a disk with some graphics and text required 30 minutes to complete (instructions say s/b <36). The instructions indicate that draft (lowest quality) mode can take up to 20.

I have a fairly new and fairly fast system, speed of the system should not be a system issue in this case.

I do not recommend this product.

Lite-On DVD/RW w/LightScribe5
Lite-On is the ONLY burner I use anymore. Have tried every name brand burner on the market. Out of the last 150-200 builds have had only 1 burner that I had to warranty. When I can get one coaster for every 300+ burns, that's quality.

Obviously, you stay with what works!
