Blew up and destroyed my satellite tv input and, seemingly, my Plasma TV
I bought this printer and used it to print up material away from home twice. Then after I had plugged it in at home there was an explosion when I tried to connect it to the USB port of my computer. Our satellite TV quit working immediately, the input had been blown and had to be replaced. Our 42" Plasma TV (2 years old) quit working a few days later. Strangely the USB port where the explosion occurred seems to be fine. I had enjoyed it until it proved to be very faulty.

A highly functional portable printer compatible with Linux
HP has distinguished themselves by providing a portable color USB printer that is compatible with Linux operating systems. If you plan on air travel, order the travel protectors or equivalent for both printer cartridges. The product is susceptible to deformities, if not adequately wrapped for shipping. Printer cartridges can cost an "arm and a leg" elsewhere. So have backups!

Excellent for Home Office
Very flexible. The battery and inbuilt wifi are great. I use this to print from 1 desktop and 3 laptops - all wirelessly. I can also move it to any room in my condo with no problems.

Photo printing is not up to par and I use another dedicated printer for photos, but I never intended this to be a high quality photo printer.

The set up for this printer is very simple and I have computers with mixed Vista and XP OS working perfectly with it.
