Customer Reviews

It is great for what it is designed to do, the Sprint card is fast but get the damage warranty.5
This device is brighter then you'd expect and smaller than a VHS video tape.
The keyboard is great if you're already a Blackberry or Treo User and comfortable with thumboards.

It can multitask a decent amount of applications including Java apps along with MS Office while watching YouTube videos.

Anything this small and used frequently will eventually be dropped and the hard drive drop sensor may protect your data but the screen can easily separate from the rails and the external case may experience a veneer crack.

If you want to protect it adequately, invest in the aluminum large battery case OQO Model 02 Stronghold Case (Double capacity) then combine it with the included faux leather semi soft belt clip case OQO INC BELT CLIP CASE FOR OQO MODEL 02.

The OQO with the standard slim battery still fits with grip into the double metal case, but the larger metal case fits very snugly into the belt case. This combination is best since we've witnessed damage if the OQO hits the floor inside just the aluminum case or has even fallen out of the enclosed soft case when dropping from just 4 ft.

Sprint bandwidth is good and their tech support has improved tremendously since Dan Hesse took over.

A quick tip about using the Sprint Card, create a new Dial Up Networking connection and use #777 as the phone number without a user ID or password. Use this connection instead of their software connection manager and your data connections will experience less drops and even marginally better throughput.

The reason is the Sprint Connection Manager will throttle your bandwidth to try to "spread / share" the available bandwidth in the area with other Sprint EVDx data users. The DUN #777 connection doesn't modify your connection speed and has dramatically improved our experience.
